Akanksha Awasthi is a member of the Sanitation & Health and Education & Youth thematic Management Groups. She contributes to programme design, implementation planning, budget management, capacity building, training, and monitoring support across both thematic areas.
Akanksha joined Gram Vikas as a Young Management Trainee with the WASH Nutrition Resource Group (WNRG) and subsequently took on the role of Junior Manager within the Sanitation & Health and Education & Youth Management Groups.
She has served as Project Manager for the PwC India-supported Water & Livelihood Security Project in Mohana, Gajapati, and currently serves as Project Coordinator for the CIAI-supported Bal Marg project in Kandhamal.
Akanksha holds an MA in Development from Azim Premji University, Bangalore.
