Jannatun Begum is a member of the Village Institutions & Convergence and Sanitation & Health Management Groups and oversees interventions relating to both the domains in the partner villages.
She joined in April 2019, bringing 22 years of experience in the capacity building of community institutions, with a focus on women and child rights. Before Gram Vikas, she worked with AKRSP India, Akhil Bharat Samaj Sewa Sansthan, YCDA, DISHA, Madhyam Foundation, Sebajagat, NIPIDIT, Antodaya, and other nonprofits. She led the RCI project, funded by the Azim Premji Foundation, from 2023 to 2025. She has strong expertise in training and capacity building, with considerable experience in designing and facilitating learning processes for community members and field teams.
She holds an MSW from Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar.
