Nirmal Chandra Mohanty is the District Manager for Keonjhar and Sundergarh. He is a member of the Livelihood thematic and Habitat & Technology thematic Management Groups. He also oversees the HDFC Bank Parivartan supported Holistic Rural Development Project and SBI Foundation supported Gram Saksham project in Keonjhar and Kalahandi districts respectively.
When he joined Gram Vikas in August 2020, he brought over 25 years of experience in watershed development, renewable energy, and agriculture. Nirmal has worked across private, government, and non-government sectors with Adhikar, Onergy Solar, International Development Enterprises India (IDEI), and the Directorate of Water Management, Government of India.
He holds an Executive MBA from KIIT University and a mechanical engineering qualification from The Institution of Engineers (India).
