Sachin Gurung is a Thematic Coordinator for Water Resources Technology Group, based out of Mohuda, Ganjam. He is responsible for implementation of activities under Comprehensive Sourceshed Development in Ganjam & Gajapati district, and Rudhapadar FCO in Ghumusur district. He trains field staff and community members on soil and water conservation structures, including trench construction. Before joining in 2018, he served as Project Coordinator at Hill Social Welfare Society, Kalimpong (2015-2018), and earlier as Junior Coordinator at Gram Vikas on the Integrated Tribal Development Programme in Tumba, Ganjam (2013-2015).
He holds a Bachelor of Science from North Bengal University, a Certificate in Rural Development from IGNOU, and an Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme certification from the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Assam.
