Arati Pandya is a development professional with over three decades of experience working on women’s empowerment, labour rights, social inclusion, livelihoods, child protection, and disability across South Asia. She has held senior leadership roles at the Centre for Education and Communication and Azad Foundation, and has worked with organisations including CRY, Christian Aid, and Handicap International. Her areas of expertise include programme strategy, monitoring and evaluation, and ethical supply chains in textiles, agriculture, and leather. Throughout her career, she has worked closest to where policy meets a worker’s daily life. She holds an M.Phil. in Economics from Sambalpur University, with a specialisation in rural development and transformation.
