Biren Bhuta co-created Samvaad, one of the subcontinent’s largest international indigenous conclaves, during his tenure as Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility at Tata Steel, where he worked across tribal communities in Jharkhand and Odisha. Before that, he spent years in broadcast journalism with NDTV and created the India Business Report series for BBC, having begun his career at Standard Chartered. He is a core team member of Disom, The Leadership School, and holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a fellowship from the Ross Business School, Michigan. He joined the Gram Vikas Society in 2019.
