Malay Kumar Panda is a member of the Water thematic and Habitat & Technology thematic Management Groups in Gram Vikas. He is also serving as the Project Manager for the Wipro Cares supported Water Secure Initiative project in Chandaka, Bhubaneswar. He manages work around water infrastructure, groundwater monitoring, sanitation access, plantation-based conservation, and community-led governance across Chandaka and Daruthenga Gram Panchayats, both within Bhubaneswar Development Block.
He is a trained electrical engineer with expertise in solar pumping systems, solar electricity, and water quality. He joined Gram Vikas in March 2017.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Oxford College of Engineering and Management, Bhubaneswar, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Jhadeswar Institute of Engineering and Technology.
